Who we are

Where the well is, the standard follows.

IWS is the only Saudi NACE-qualified provider of casing and casing-head welding — an engineering-led company built to deliver documented, code-compliant welds on every well. This is who we are, how we work, and who we work for.

About IWS

Specialist welding, delivered to a standard operators can verify.

Integrated Wellhead Services is the only Saudi NACE-qualified provider of casing and casing-head welding, serving oil and gas operators including a major operator and major service providers. Our methodology was developed and qualified together with a major operator's technical organization specifically to meet sour-service requirements — and it passed every qualifying test.

Now operating through our registered Saudi subsidiary, IWS treats every job — from installation through code-compliant welding, post-weld heat treatment and gas testing — as auditable engineering. The result is consistent, crack-free welds, a documented temperature record for every weld, and a safety record we hold to without exception.

Mission

To provide safe, reliable and high-quality specialist welding services — including wellhead installation, workover, repair and fabrication — ensuring pressure-control integrity and operational efficiency for our oil & gas partners through experienced technicians and qualified, code-compliant procedures.

Vision

To be the oil and gas industry's preferred service provider in specialised welding, recognized for our commitment to zero-incident safety, unmatched technical expertise and industry standards.

Who we are

Where the well is, the standard follows.

An IWS crew is trained, certified and accountable — the same qualified people and procedures behind every weld, on every well.

The IWS methodology

Why operators specify IWS welding.

The conventional "old method" of casing-head welding doesn't measure temperature, isn't code-approved, and can't be audited after the fact. The IWS methodology was built to close every one of those gaps.

01

Accurate temperature recording

A chart recorder monitors and documents metal temperatures throughout welding — transparent, precise, traceable preheat and inter-pass records.

02

Full code compliance

Endorsed by recognized international standards — ASME, API and ISO — rather than relying on unapproved field practice.

03

Proven industry reliability

The same technology is widely and successfully applied to pressure vessels, piping, tanks and pipelines.

04

Auditable on every weld

A preheat chart is produced for each weld, making adherence to approved procedures simple to verify.

05

Crack-free welds in 4130

Precise preheat and inter-pass control substantially reduces cracking risk in AISI 4130 material, where inconsistent temperature is a real risk.

06

No soot, less downtime

No black carbon soot inside the casing head means no contamination and no post-weld cleaning. Localized heating cuts the ~2-hour cooling wait, so testing can start earlier, subject to the approved procedure and client acceptance criteria.

Qualified scope

Procedures qualified for the materials operators run.

Each procedure is individually qualified for a specific weld and material combination — supported by a Procedure Qualification Record and proven against ASME Section IX and NACE through bend, macro, hardness and tensile testing.
